Residents and organizations throughout Madison County are already working on wastewater accountability, protecting local waterways, and educating the public. Their campaigns have their own goals. We share these links for residents who want to learn more.

Local community campaign · Flint River protection

Keep the Flint River Clean

A resident-led campaign focused on protecting the Flint River and addressing the proposed wastewater facility location. Its Community Pledge asks for river protection and responsible siting. It is not a petition to replace Integra as the sewer provider.

Local watershed conservation

Flint River Conservation Association

Supports watershed conservation, local education and stewardship. We have not verified a separate Integra-specific public signature petition run by this association.

Auburn University educational program

Alabama Water Watch

Supports volunteer water-quality monitoring, environmental education and community science. It is not presented as a participant in our petition or as a private-sewer ownership campaign.

Neighborhood organizing and legal proceedings

Berry Hill and neighboring homeowners

Local reporting has documented homeowners opposing a proposed Integra wastewater facility, including legal proceedings. We have not verified a distinct official homeowner petition page and do not claim to represent these homeowners.

Want to investigate a different sewer provider?

Fair Sewer Madison is asking officials to investigate whether another accountable provider could serve Integra households with feasible costs and dependable service. Supporting another group's environmental pledge does not automatically sign our petition.
